Zachariah 9:12 says "Return to your fortress you prisoners of hope ! even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you".
This is a declaration from God through prophet Zachariah of double portion of blessings to the Jewish prisoners of war. Please note that God calls them prisoners of hope at a very dark time in their lives. At this point they had been defeated by the Babylonians . They were sad, disheartened, bitter and disappointed. Because they looked at their present circumstances. But God looked at their potential and bright future as He had intended a double portion of blessing and restoration for them
Friends, whatever your present situation seems like, do not lose hope. He is faithful. He will restore to you every thing the enemy stole from you regardless of your painful past. I assure you through my life experiences He is a rewarder of those who seek Him diligently.
